Biography

Scott Lim is the Project Manager for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Hong Kong. He leads the design and implementation of science-based projects that restore ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, and build climate resilience across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

As a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), Scott brings over seven years of experience in sustainability strategy, ecological planning and design, project management, and stakeholder engagement. At TNC, he oversees a portfolio of NbS projects, including flood mitigation modelling, wetland restoration, and conservation finance research. He plays a key role in advancing regional climate strategies, facilitating expert roundtables, and fostering cross-sector partnerships with academia, government, industry professionals, and philanthropic and corporate funders.

Prior to joining TNC, Scott served as a sustainability manager and engineer at New World Development and Arup, where he led sustainability initiatives across a diverse range of projects. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and Project Management from the University of Leeds and is professionally accredited in LEED, WELL, and Living Future.
