Science-based. Practical.

At The Nature Conservancy, we believe meaningful progress for nature and climate comes through collaboration. We work across sectors, bringing together governments, communities, businesses and partners to share knowledge, explore solutions and help create the conditions for conservation action. Our approach is informed by experience on the ground, shaped by our partners and grounded in science.

Hong Kong's First Five-Year Plan

Hong Kong’s first Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development (2026–2030) represents important progress for nature and creates significant opportunities to continue our momentum and advance our Greater Bay Area strategy. Recognise nature as strategic ecological infrastructure and embed biodiversity, climate adaptation, and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) across Hong Kong's development agenda.

Coastal Protection Park (CPP)

TNC joined 17 environmental organisations, ecologists, the oyster farming association, and local stakeholders in putting forward a set of collective recommendations to the Government on the proposed Coastal Protection Park (CPP) in Deep Bay and nearby development proposals. We believe Deep Bay has the potential to become a new model for conservation and sustainable development.
