The Nature Conservancy’s Hong Kong Office started operations in 2002 with a focus on building awareness and raising funds to support our conservation programs in the region. In 2012, the Asia Pacific headquarter was relocated to Hong Kong and a new local Hong Kong team was brought on in March of 2013 to develop and support conservation efforts locally. With the new hub now established in Hong Kong, TNC is looking at ways to broaden its support base with signature programs that will instill the concept around the importance and inter-dependency of Nature to people’s quality of life. TNC believes that people can be Catalysts for Change and our programs aim at contributing to a solid understanding the issues, highlighting people’s role in participating in the solutions, and be ambassadors to spread the word.
