We’re currently recruiting for the following positions in Hong Kong
Marketing Operations Associate
We’re addressing the world’s most pressing conservation challenges with solutions that benefit people and nature. Our mission and vision create the foundation for rewarding and challenging careers.
And while we couldn’t do it without our scientists, you don’t have to be one to work with us. We also need experts in policy, fundraising, marketing, legal, IT, finance, HR and administration.
Whatever your expertise, at The Nature Conservancy you’ll find an environment that nurtures employees by encouraging innovation, collaboration and professional development.
Plus, in 2018 for the fifth year, we were named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute, an independent centre of research promoting best practices in corporate ethics and governance.
We Believe in Diversity and Inclusion
We recognize that conservation of biological diversity is best advanced by the leadership and contributions of men and women of diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures. The Nature Conservancy is working to make a lasting difference around the world in 72 countries. We have a globally diverse workforce of over 3,500 committed and talented staff based or working in all 50 United States and in offices in 30 countries around the world. We are committed to our diversity and inclusion principles and value a blend of perspectives and viewpoints because we know that having a diverse workforce, which is representative of the global population, is essential to achieving our mission.
We sponsor Employee Resources Groups which are instrumental in providing resources, tools and access to a community of peers and allies. Currently, we have:
• Women In Nature
• Nature’s Pride (LGBT)
• Young Emerging Professionals
• League of Employees of African Descent (LEAD)
We also provide training workshops focused on diversity and inclusion because we want to go beyond “diversity hiring,” and many of our business units sponsor diversity-specific pilot projects which are directly tied to their conservation efforts.
While we are a science-based organisation and we could not do our work without our 600 amazing scientists on staff, you don’t have to be one to work here! Everyone at The Nature Conservancy works on conservation—from central operations staff at the Worldwide Office in Virginia, to field staff working on project sites and every support function in between. Across the globe, there are many areas where you can find a home and contribute to our mission.
EXTERNAL AFFAIRS focuses on government relations as well as corporate engagement.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT includes financial services and support for all segments of the Conservancy, including the Board of Directors, Worldwide Office functions, state and country programs, regional units and conservation strategy groups. It also encompasses grants services, trade lands and corporate insurance.
MARKETING strives to drive revenue, strengthen our brand and inspire and engage current and future supporters, leaders and advocates. It also encompasses membership, content & publishing, digital marketing and global communications.
DEVELOPMENT connects the passion of our supporters with inspiring fundraising opportunities. They work collaboratively with business units to drive philanthropy and conservation results.
SCIENCE uses our Global Challenges Global Solutions framework to maintain our leadership in the conservation arena. They produce cutting-edge science on the connections between humans and nature and then provide research outputs.
TECHNOLOGY & INFORMATION SYSTEMS (TIS) provides systems, training, support, standards, and information for Conservancy staff and partners to rapidly communicate and exchange critical knowledge.
And just like any organisation, we require many other types of professional and support staff to provide all of the critical support necessary to maintain our global operations. Therefore, we also offer opportunities for individuals in Legal, Human Resources, Project Management, and other fields.
Founded in 1951, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a global conservation organization dedicated to conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends. Guided by science, we create innovative, on-the-ground solutions to our world’s toughest challenges so that nature and people can thrive together. We are tackling climate change, conserving lands, waters and oceans at unprecedented scale, providing food and water sustainably and helping make cities more sustainable. One of our core values is our commitment to diversity. Therefore, we strive for a globally diverse and culturally competent workforce. Working in 72 countries, including all 50 United States, we use a collaborative approach that engages local communities, governments, the private sector and other partners.
