DEVELOPMENT connects the passion of our supporters with inspiring fundraising opportunities. They work collaboratively with business units to drive philanthropy and conservation results.
SCIENCE uses our Global Challenges Global Solutions framework to maintain our leadership in the conservation arena. They produce cutting-edge science on the connections between humans and nature and then provide research outputs.
TECHNOLOGY & INFORMATION SYSTEMS (TIS) provides systems, training, support, standards, and information for Conservancy staff and partners to rapidly communicate and exchange critical knowledge.

YOUR POSITION WITH TNC
The Marketing Operations Associate manages and implements projects to advance the mass market fundraising program with the wider public and strengthens the engagement with our supporters.
The Marketing Operations Associate manages and implements fundraising projects/initiatives across multiple channels to engage new donors to TNC and further the engagement of our supporters to advance our conservation impact. S/he works across multiple channels as telemarketing, face-to-face, digital, direct mail and others to execute fundraising campaigns involving development of events, copywriting, print production, training materials, etc. S/he works closely with various constituents such as department staff, field offices, program consultants and partners to manage all phases of projects ensuring coordination and accurate documentation. S/he may work within budgets to minimize expenses, maximize revenue and meet quality control standards. S/he tracks and analyzes program results, report findings and works with senior fundraising managers to implement strategic recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
• Organizes, manages and coordinates diverse projects and activities with many variables.
• Does not supervise any staff but will coordinate the work of peers on departmental project teams. May supervise volunteers, interns or temporary staff.
• Works within a budget to complete a project.
• Duties are performed under general supervision and established guidelines.
• Opportunity to act independently on assigned tasks and projects. May have full opportunity to direct individual projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 5 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience cultivating and managing client/customer relationships.
• Experience writing, editing and proofreading.
• Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects.
• Fluent in both English and Cantonese.
• Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
• Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
• Knowledge and application of current and evolving trends in marketing.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to conceive and write creatively for various audiences from technical information.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant technology skills required to prepare presentations and analyze data to construct reports.
• Practical knowledge of marketing and branding principles.
